AUTUMN IN MAPLE ACRES

I call this butterfly pouch “Autumn in Maple Acres” I am reminded of youthful days in our friends’ maple woods in Kewadin, Michigan. This hand sewn buckskin Leather “Butterfly Pouch” opens to resemble a butterfly in flight. It has fringe galore with thick foliage of glass and copper beads, peppered with black-striped spirit beads and fall colored leaf beads. I also created a pair of earrings that matches the fringe, completing this ensemble. It has taken over twenty hours of sweet memories to create this piece. I hope you enjoy it all year round.
